About

I am a Pacific Northwest photographer with a passion for traveling and the great outdoors. I have been interested in photography from an early age but my journey in exploring and capturing images of our remarkable world started during my time in the US Navy. After my military years I returned to college to study Fine Art, Architectural and Studio Photography. I received my BFA in Photography from the Academy of Art College in San Francisco, CA.

I currently live with my family near Seattle, WA and am fortunate enough to have as my front yard the extraordinary beautiful Hood Canal and as my backyard the Olympic National Park with all of it's wonders. In addition, Mount Rainier, North Cascades and Mt Saint Helens National Parks, to mention a few, are all just a short distance away. The Pacific Northwest is truly a small slice of a photographers paradise. I have no shortage of subject matter to choose from. I continue to travel frequently and always have camera and lens with me to capture what I may discover and what may be that fleeting moment in time that can never be captured again.

My passion is to photograph what inspires me and will hopefully inspire you. I aspire to capture the beauty of our natural world through landscape, architecture and the sometimes abstract and whimsical world in which we live. My photographic vision and journey continues with my interpretation of light to object to image.

Thanks for visiting, please enjoy your view...
